F’N Hot Sauce

The brand
Turning a family recipe into a complete consumer brand.
F’N Hot Sauce began with a Trinidadian family recipe, Saturday-morning music and a peppa-sauce that friends and family kept asking for. Since late 2021, Soul-O Productions has shaped that foundation into a bold Canadian brand built to carry the story from bottle to screen.
The challenge
Keep the family personality while building a brand ready to sell.
The brand needed to feel unmistakably Trinidadian, proudly Canadian and easy to understand at a glance. Every touchpoint also had to organize three distinct heat levels—Hot, Mild and Slight-Peppa—without losing the humour, family history or flavour behind the product.
Soul-O’s contribution
One connected identity, from packaging to post.
Brand Identity & Packaging
Developing the logo, visual system and bottle packaging around a bold red, black and white palette.
Website & E-Commerce
Designing and developing a responsive WordPress experience that presents the products, family story and path to purchase.
Photography & Content
Creating product imagery and campaign-ready content that keeps the brand recognizable across digital channels.
Instagram Development
Creating the page, establishing its visual direction and producing ongoing content to grow a consistent social presence.
The brand system
Three levels of heat. One family story.
Clear colour coding separates Hot, Mild and Slight-Peppa while the shared logo, energetic typography and Trinidad-to-Canada story keep the range connected. The result is a flexible system that works across packaging, photography, social content and e-commerce.
Selected work
A family story, built into the brand.

The outcome
A brand foundation designed to keep growing.
Soul-O delivered a unified identity and digital ecosystem rather than a single campaign asset: a recognizable logo and package system, a responsive online storefront, original photography, brand storytelling and an active Instagram presence—all rooted in the same family voice.
